A hardcover notebook inspired by the "Mosaic tile panel from the shrine of Zayn al-Mulk" (Timurid period, c. 885 AH/1480-1481 CE), a Museum of Islamic Art collection. The tile panel embodies the aesthetics of Timurid-era architecture. It comes originally from the tomb of Zayn al-Mulk in Isfahan. The decorative pattern is typical of the period with its pattern of scrolling vines, flowering buds and palmettes set amidst scalloped cartouches and arched motifs in shades of blue, yellow and purply brown.
