A hardcover notebook inspired by the portrait of "Mughal Courtiers" (Mughal period, 11th century AH/17th century CE), a Museum of Islamic Art collection. The folio originally belonged to a famous album known as the "Jahangir Album", compiled between 1008 and 1028 AH/1600 and 1618 CE. The four portraits on the folio have been attributed based on stylistic analysis respectively to Manohar, Bishandas, Nanha, and Mansur, some of the major artists working for Jahangir: they represent members of the Mughal court, wearing precious and luxurious clothes set against a light blue landscape with plants and flowers.
