Taysir Batniji: No Condition is Permanent "Suspended Time" postcard (A5)

An A5 postcard featuring Taysir Batniji’s work titled “Suspended Time”, alluding to a state of being trapped and unable to move. Batniji, who is a Palestinian artist living in France dedicates and finds inspiration for his artistic expression in his homeland, which is stuck in a suspended reality, much as the grains of sand in the hourglass lying horizontally, prevented to perform its function. The piece is inspired from the artist’s exhibition at Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, “No Condition is Permanent”, which is an Arabic saying used to emphasize that pain doesn’t last forever and that all things and states come to an end.
