Cushion Cover King of Spades

This exquisite cushion cover featuring the King of Spades draws its inspiration from the depths of Qatari culture and its traditional elements. Commissioned by Qatar Museums, the design stems from “BATTA”, the Qatari playing card series. Among the many local cultural components infused into the design of the cushion cover, the King of Spades is seen wearing a bisht, a ceremonial cloak with gold trim, associated with high social status such as royalty, religious position or wealth. This cushion cover is a luxurious addition to any room on its own, as well as when paired with other pieces from the Qatari playing cards collection. Cushion insert is not included.
