A mug inspired by Hermann Kretzschmer's "Camel Riders" (1845, oil on canvas). Hermann Kretzschmer was a German painter and etcher and was known for his Oriental genre pieces and portraits. This artwork is part of the exhibition "Lusail Museum: Tales of a Connected World" in Qatar Museums Gallery, Al Riwaq. The exhibition puts a spotlight on world-class collection of Orientalist art, archaeological artefacts and media from antiquity to the 21st century.
