This fusion of ideas is the work of Buthaina Al Zaman, who conceptualised the design portraying a diverse society on its way through the desert towards the modern city of Doha. The print is framed by the typical Al Sadu pattern embroidery, further driving the message of connecting with and preserving Qatar's rich traditions, while modernising society.
