In our Time: The World as seen by Magnum Photographers, 1936-1987, is a selection of 100 images from a portfolio produced to mark the 40th anniversary of the Magnum organisation. Founded in 1947 to give its member’s artistic freedom from the picture magazines and to ensure they retained rights to their images. Magnum Photos today emcompasses four offices in London, New York, Paris, and Tokyo, representing over 70 photographers and estates worldwide.
