A soft touch notebook with an imprint of William Hoare's "Ayuba Suleiman Diallo" (1733, oil on canvas). William Hoare was a British portraitist, painter and printmaker, noted for his pastels. He was a foundation member of the Royal Academy of Arts. This artwork is part of the exhibition "Lusail Museum: Tales of a Connected World" in Qatar Museums Gallery, Al Riwaq. The exhibition puts a spotlight on world-class collection of Orientalist art, archaeological artefacts and media from antiquity to the 21st century.
